JumpSites Growth documentation
What JumpSites Growth is, what it builds for your business, and how the setup and the weekly publishing service fit together.
JumpSites reads the website you already own, then builds and publishes a second site for you — a branded content site on an address like yourbusiness.jump.site that carries service pages and local articles written in your voice, and sends every interested reader back to your main site.
It does not replace, migrate, or modify your current website. Your main site stays exactly where it is and keeps being your primary business destination. The growth site is a separate thing that exists to answer the local and service-specific questions your main site was never built to cover.
What you get
The product is two halves, and it helps to keep them separate in your head.
- An initial launch Setup produces dozens of pages on day one — a home page, a service page for each service you offer, and a library of local articles built from your services and the communities you serve.
- An ongoing publishing service After launch, new content keeps arriving every week without you doing anything. That is the part that compounds.
Hosting and SSL for your jump.site address are included. There is no server to manage, no certificate to renew, and no DNS to configure unless you choose to connect your own domain.
Why a separate site
Most small-business websites are built to convert someone who already knows the business: a few service pages, an about page, a contact form. That is the right shape for that job, and rebuilding it to chase search traffic usually makes it worse at the job it already does well.
A growth site has room to do the other job. It can carry a page on what a service costs in your city, a comparison between two options a customer is weighing, a guide to what actually happens during an appointment — the questions people type before they know who to call. Each of those pages links back to the relevant page on your main site, so the visibility accrues to you rather than to a directory.
It also means nothing about this project can break your existing website. The scan is read-only.
Setting up
Setup is five stages, and it is designed to be finished in one sitting. You do not need an account for the first four — only the preview step asks you to sign in.
- Connect your website Enter the address of a site you own and confirm you own it. JumpSites reads it for your business details, branding, contact facts and services, then shows you everything it found so you can correct it.
- Services and locations Confirm your business type, choose the services you want more work in, and list the communities you actually serve.
- Voice and brand Set your colours and logo, pick a tone, and give a sample sentence that sounds like you. These apply to every page, forever.
- Choose your topics Review the suggested topics, add keywords you want covered, and name any subjects to avoid.
- Preview and publish Read one real article before you pay anything. Then pick a plan and the rest of your content is written and published.
After you publish
- New articles publish every week. Topics rotate so coverage spreads rather than stacking in one place. See Weekly publishing.
- Article pages can carry a lead form that emails the address you chose during setup. It is on unless you turned it off. See What's on your growth site.
- Search engines and AI assistants can read all of it — sitemaps, feeds and structured data ship automatically. See SEO, feeds, and AI discovery.
- You stay in control. Edit an article, unpublish one you do not want, or connect your own domain, all from your dashboard.
